Divisions

**LEAGUE AGE IS YOUR CHILD'S AGE ON 8/31/25**

Tee Ball (ages 4-5)

Tee Ball is the entry level division for players, ages 4-5. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. Every player bats off of a tee and every player plays in the field each inning.

Tee Ball players use bats and softer balls (baseballs and softballs) designated specifically for use in this division. The roster size for a Tee Ball team averages 8-12 players, with a season featuring 1-2 45min to an 1 hour practices per week with games played on weekdays and weekends. This division is intended to be purely for fundamental baseball instruction and fun. This is a non-competitive division. Games are not scored and standings are not kept.

Coach Pitch (ages 5-7)

Coach Pitch is one division up from Tee Ball for players, ages 5-6. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. The primary difference from tee-ball is that each player bats off of pitches thrown from their coach.

The roster size for a Coach Pitch team averages 10 players (4 outfielders), with a season featuring 1-2 1hr practices per week with games played on weekdays and weekends. Games are not scored and standings are not kept.

Machine Pitch (ages 6-8)

Players playing in this Subdivision shall be League age 6- years-old through 8-years-old. The League’s preference is that players in this Subdivision have already played one year of Tee Ball and one year of Coach Pitch before playing. A Blue Flame machine is used to throw baseballs from immediately in front of the mound for the entire season. May have longer practices up to 1.5hr

AA (ages 7-8)

AA is the first introduction to player pitching. The Minor AA division is intended for players ages 7-8. All players must try out and be drafted into this division.

This is a competitive division, where all games are scored and standings are kept. AA is played on a field with 60 foot base paths and a pitcher’s mound that is 46 feet from home plate.

May have up to 1.5hr practices.

AAA (ages 9-10)

The AAA division is intended for players ages 9-10. All players must try out and be drafted into this division.

This is a competitive division, where all games are scored and standings are kept. AAA Baseball is "player-pitch" baseball and is played on a field with 60 foot base paths and a pitcher’s mound that is 46 feet from home plate.

May have up to 1.5hr practices.

Majors (ages 11-12)

Rarely appropriate for League Age 10 players. Players must try out and be drafted onto Majors teams. Majors Baseball is "player-pitch" baseball and is played on a field with 60 foot base paths and a pitcher’s mound that is 46 feet from home plate. Players are drafted in rounds. Managers evaluate players at tryouts and draft accordingly. The Majors division is a competitive play division with runs, outs, wins and losses.

May have up to 2.5hr practices.

Intermediate (ages 12-13)

Utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. The division offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths).

May have up to 2.5hr practices.

Juniors (ages 14-15)

Utilizes a 60-foot pitching distance and 90-foot base paths. As a Competitive Division, the primary goals of Juniors Baseball are to provide the players a suitable vehicle to take their game to the next level in preparation for most competitive arenas of Youth Baseball such as High School and Senior Little League.

May have up to 2.5hr practices.

Seniors (ages 15-16)

The Senior League Baseball Division is for boys and girls 15-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this teenage division of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.
